The Soledad Volunteer Fire Department provides a public service and voluntarily adopts the MinTIC web accessibility guidelines and WCAG 2.1 level AA.
Implemented measures
- Keyboard navigation, skip link and visible focus.
- Semantic structure, hierarchical headings, labels and text alternatives.
- Responsive design, text enlargement, high contrast, grayscale and negative contrast.
- An option to reduce motion, and respect for the operating system preference.
- Preferences stored on your own device, without tracking cookies.
- An English version with its own addresses (/en/) and language annotations for search engines.
- A visible site map and an XML file for search engines.
Known limitations
- Colombian Sign Language videos are pending production and validation with a qualified interpreter.
- The English version must be reviewed whenever official Spanish content changes.
- Conformance requires periodic testing with screen readers and real devices.
